The youth of our Nation are supported by the Grand Lodge through its Youth Activities Committee, which promotes numerous programs including:

     - Scholarships for graduating High School Seniors
     - Legacy Award Scholarships for children and grandchildren of Elk Members
     - Student/Teenager of the Month/Year recognition programs
     - Boys and Girls Scouting Programs and Recognition Awards
     - Sponsorship of youth sports teams
     - Support of junior golf, bowling and tennis programs
     - Youth Week and Youth Citizenship Programs
     - Sponsorship of Youth Camps
     - Sponsorship of handicapped and developmentally-challenged youth programs

The Grand Lodge Youth Activities Committee publishes numerous informative pamphlets that will assist and guide your Lodge with its Youth Activities Program. Several dedicated Members should be appointed to this very important Committee, exemplifying our motto "ELKS CARE - ELKS SHARE." A successful youth program can greatly enhance your "COMMUNITY IMAGE," and bring you in contact with many potential new Members for you Lodge. Each year the Grand Lodge Youth Activities Committee presents awards at the Grand Lodge Session to those Lodges who excel in serving our youth. Above all, the "ELKS USA" is committed to improving and enriching our Nation's Youth.

Everyone needs to be aware the the ELKS provide more scholarships than any other private organization in the United States. To continue to enhance this program, it is most important to provide scholarship applications to the local high schools in your Lodge jurisdiction as well as to publish notices in the local media.
