Drug Awareness Trailer

The Tennessee Elks Association has 3 Drug Awareness Trailers for use by the lodges in the state. These trailers have been strategically located at the lodges in Knoxville, Nashville (Franklin) and Trenton. The travel time someone had to spend picking up a trailer for their lodge's event has been drastically reduced by having a trailer located in one of these cities.

These trailers are fully equipped with the latest Grand Lodge drug awareness educational brochures, drug awareness coloring books, and bookmarks made possible by the Elks National Foundation.

The trailers also have several drug awareness educational identification kits. Get a first hand look at what crack cocaine, marijuana and other illegal and legal drugs look like. See what your lungs look like after smoking just 1 pack a day for one year.

These trailers have become one of the most visible program resources the Drug Awareness Program has today. You will know right away when you have seen one because of the large lettering on the outside of the trailers. There's no doubt it's the Elks and it's the Drug Awareness program.

As more of these trailers hit the highways and byways across the U.S. the message is being spread by a traveling "Billboard" sort of speaking. We leave no doubt to the communities what the Elks position is on substance abuse.

These trailers can be used in Parades, County Fairs, Shopping Centers, Little League activities, High School events such as football and basketball games just to mention a few.
